Wrestler's Bio
Jason Reynolds has been in the wrestling business for a long time. Once a feared
veteran of the ring, Reynolds hung his boots up for the last time some three
years ago. After an abundance of stints in various wrestling promotions, he
decided he'd had enough. He just didn't get the same kick anymore. The spark had
gone. It made sense to call it a day before it became a chore rather than a
hobby.
His exit was low-profile. His absence was noticed, and certainly commented on,
but Reynolds himself tried to keep things quiet. He left his home country,
retiring to Ireland to try his luck with computer software or work in a country
club; peace and quiet. And if that failed, there was always the booze.
Three years on and Reynolds still hadn't settled. He'd tried everything,
switching jobs every four months or so. The unemployed time was spent playing
soccer and trying to be innovative. A call from an old friend changed it all.
Reynolds was told all about Steelside, but just brushed it aside. Wrestling was
no longer a part of his life. Or so he told himself.
The thought of returning to the ring just stuck in his head. No matter what he
was doing, the wrestling ring was always in the back of his mind, he couldn't
get away from it. He eventually admitted defeat and decided to try it out again.
What harm could it do? No matter how much he wanted to forget about his life as
a wrestler, the idea of a new challenge made the hairs on his neck stand on end.
Wrestling was a vocation for him, not just a job...all the perks came rushing
back to him; he loved wrestling.
Here he stands today, eager to climb back to the top of the wrestling ladder.
And Steelside seems to be the perfect place for him to do it. |
